Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create detailed steel drawings and designs for water tank components, including structural elements, frames, and other steel materials.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to review and adjust designs to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, quality, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct material take-offs and assist with procurement of required steel materials.
  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to create precise drawings and measurements.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs are feasible and can be produced efficiently.
  • Perform any other duties related to steel detailing and production as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Steel Detailer, with experience in the manufacturing of water tanks or similar steel products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of steel materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various departments, suppliers, and clients.
  • Experience in the water tank or steel fabrication industry is a plus.
