Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic control systems, instrumentation, and communications equipment
  • Maintain records of work performed and parts used using computer-based maintenance management systems
  • Test equipment for faults, diagnose problems, and replace or repair defective parts
  • Perform periodic calibration of instruments and devices
  • Provide support to engineers and other professionals on projects and program implementation
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and regulations in the workplace
  • Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with technological advancements

Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field
  • Certification in electronics, instrumentation or related field preferred
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a related position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electronics and instrumentation principles and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team
