Job Description
We are looking for an Lift Technician in our company.
Responsibilities
- Install new elevators and escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems
- Maintain and repair elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and other vertical transportation equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oiling and cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices
- Respond to emergency calls and make repairs quickly and efficiently
- Update and maintain records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Conduct safety audits and ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations
- Stay current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair
- 5 Years work experience as an elevator mechanic.
- State certification and licensing as an elevator technician
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
