Job Description
Responsibilities
- Applies engineering principles in Mechanical, Materials or Metallurgical engineering discipline.
- Analysis of design and operating parameters, design and process diagrams/data, previous inspection and repair data to identify damage mechanisms in fixed equipment and piping circuits.
- Performs calculations related to identifying damage mechanisms
Subject matter expert on damage mechanisms to inspection team leads Demonstrates a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities and work performed. - Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for projects.
- Visits job-sites to evaluate site, project requirements and conditions.
- Interfaces with other disciplines and clients.
- Works closely with inspection leads in the development inspection test plans for fixed equipment and piping circuit.
- Meets company quality assurance requirements for personal work assignments.
- Supports field assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate experience with a PC and Microsoft Suite of Software.
- Fluent in English language. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion or Metallurgical Engineering
- NACE/ API Certified Corrosion Engineers
- Should have worked for Minimum 5 years of experience
