RESPONSIBILITIES:

• System Maintenance:Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of CCTV cameras, housings, monitoring systems, control units, recording units, and power supply systems.
  Identify and rectify technical issues, such as camera malfunctions, recording failures, and network connectivity problems.
  Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and firmware updates.
• Installation and Configuration:Install new CCTV cameras, housings, and other equipment as needed.
  Configure and program CCTV systems, including camera settings, recording schedules, motion detection, and other features.
  Ensure proper cable routing, termination, and testing.
• System Upgrades and Expansions:Plan and execute system upgrades, including adding new cameras, upgrading hardware, and migrating to new software.
  Stay up-to-date with the latest CCTV technologies and industry best practices.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to CCTV systems.
  Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and fix problems efficiently.
• Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
  Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a CCTV Technician with a strong focus on maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analog technologies.
• Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with a variety of CCTV brands, including Pelko, American Dynamics, Honeywell, Hernis, VICON, and Exaq Vision.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
