Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  •  Design and implement fire safety systems and protocols.
  •  Conduct fire risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  •  Collaborate with architects and construction teams to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
  •  Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
  •  Conduct fire safety audits and inspections.
  •  Develop and deliver fire safety training programs for staff.
  •  Stay updated on the latest fire safety technologies and regulations.
  •  Prepare detailed fire safety reports and documentation.
  •  Coordinate with emergency services and first responders.
  •  Investigate fire incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  •  Review and approve fire safety plans and designs.
  •  Monitor and maintain fire safety equipment and systems.
  •  Develop evacuation plans and conduct fire drills.
  •  Provide expert advice on fire safety matters to management and stakeholders.
  •  Ensure proper storage and handling of flammable materials.
  •  Participate in fire safety research and development projects.
  •  Manage fire safety budgets and resources.
  •  Respond to fire safety emergencies and incidents.
  •  Evaluate the effectiveness of fire safety measures and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field.
  •  Professional certification in fire safety (e.g., CFPS, PE).
  •  Minimum of 6+ years of experience in fire safety engineering.
  •  In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and codes.
  •  Experience with fire risk assessment and mitigation.
  •  Proficiency in fire safety design software and tools.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  •  Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  •  Experience in conducting fire safety audits and inspections.
  •  Ability to develop and deliver fire safety training programs.
  •  Knowledge of the latest fire safety technologies and trends.
  •  Experience in preparing fire safety reports and documentation.
