RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot various instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform regular inspections and diagnostics on control systems, identifying and rectifying faults to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.
• Install and configure new instrumentation equipment, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
• Document all maintenance and troubleshooting activities meticulously to create a comprehensive log that supports future diagnostics.
• Work closely with project managers to provide technical insights during project planning and execution phases, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments related to instrumentation systems, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Support emergency response efforts by quickly diagnosing and resolving instrumentation-related issues during critical incidents.

REQUIREMENTS:

• An associate degree or higher in Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems within industrial settings.
• Experience in the oil and gas, manufacturing, or power generation industries is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in using calibration tools and diagnostic equipment is required to ensure precision in task execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines are crucial.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting equipment and working in confined spaces, is necessary.
