Job Description

We are looking for an Lift Technician in our company.

Responsibilities

  • Install new elevators and escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems
  • Maintain and repair elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and other vertical transportation equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oiling and cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices
  • Respond to emergency calls and make repairs quickly and efficiently
  • Update and maintain records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations
  • Stay current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair
  • 8 Years work experience as an elevator mechanic.
  • State certification and licensing as an elevator technician
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
