Responsibilities

• Sterilize, clean, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Operate and maintain autoclaves, sterilizers, and other decontamination equipment.
• Inspect medical instruments for functionality and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the timely availability of sterile supplies.
• Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues related to sterilization equipment.
• Maintain an organized inventory of sterile supplies and instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certification in sterile processing (e.g., CRCST, CBSPD) preferred.
• 1-2 Years work experience in a CSSD or similar healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle and operate complex sterilization equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
